Heidi, a lifelong resident of Jersey, brings a decade of care experience and dedication to her role at Island Home Care. With a background in both community and residential care settings, Heidi has a natural talent for connecting with clients and making them feel truly valued. Heidi transitioned into the care profession from retail after a loyal customer recognised her caring nature - a recommendation that has since inspired a fulfilling career, allowing her to bring comfort and joy to those she supports.

 

In her free time, Heidi enjoys taking walks with her daughter, exploring Jersey’s scenic landscapes, and browsing local charity shops for unique finds. She’s also an avid traveller, exploring destinations like Spain, Tenerife, Bulgaria, and Turkey, with a dream of travelling to Madeira someday. She cherishes her two cats, Cookie and Biscuit, and places great importance on family, cherishing memories of her father. Her experience caring for him during his later years with dementia deepened her commitment to helping others, shaping her compassionate and thoughtful approach to care.
