Dr. Julie Luscombe
Julie is a Mental Health Nurse and a specialist in Public Health and Education, dedicated to empowering individuals to progress by developing their skills, knowledge, and personal strategies. Julie plays a crucial role in training our team in restorative practice, which help us maintain well-being and perform optimally for both ourselves and our clients. This approach is the foundation and model for our collegue supervision.
Nigel Risner
Leadership and communication expert
Nigel Risner is a motivational speaker and expert in leadership and communication and is working with Island Home Care to develop our comunications strategy. Known as the Zookeeper, Nigel uses the metaphor of a zoo to help individuals and organisations identify the different personality types in their teams, and subsequently use this understanding to communicate more effectively, work together more efficiently, and achieve their goals more successfully.

This ensures we promote best practices and improve outcomes through our commitment to continuous improvement. It also enables us to be an approved provider for the long-term care scheme.
