Teresa is passionate about her work and brings over a decade of experience as a healthcare worker, specialising in dementia care. Teresa’s previous experience working in residential care homes across the island has honed her skills in providing compassionate and thorough care to her clients. With roots in Madeira and Jersey, her fluency in both English and Portuguese enables her to communicate with a diverse range of individuals in her role. During her free time, Teresa indulges in her love of film, literature, and cooking, and finds solace in meditation and yoga. While Teresa has made Jersey her home since 2008, her wanderlust remains and she adores reuniting with her family in Madeira each year. Teresa takes great care and satisfaction in her work, and as a result, she continues to make a real positive impact working in the community team.
